Sprocket Power’s leadership team brings decades of experience in sustainable energy, infrastructure, and business building. They were not looking for a generic agency. They needed a real marketing partner who understood the sustainable energy category, could speak the language of energy infrastructure, and could move fast.

Within the first 30 days, we completed an intensive marketing sprint covering messaging, positioning, brand, website, content, events, CRM, and go-to-market priorities. We’ve accomplished what usually takes 6 months or more.

Client Overview and Stats

Sprocket Power is a sustainable energy infrastructure company helping commercial and industrial organizations make smarter energy decisions, reduce costs, and prepare for the future of electrification. More specifically, Sprocket Power provides a holistic solution that integrates on-site battery storage (microgrid), solar power, and EV chargers to reduce energy cost spikes. They’re an innovation leader and based in New York. We’re proud to work alongside highly innovative minds and business owners and help them get the attention, brand and business results they deserve.

Key Facts About The Company

  • Industry: Sustainable energy infrastructure, EV charging, microgrids, and commercial energy strategy
  • Market: Commercial, industrial, real estate, auto dealership, and infrastructure-focused organizations
  • Location Focus: New York, California, and broader U.S. markets
  • Leadership: Executive team with decades of experience in sustainable energy, infrastructure, finance, and project development
  • Core Focus: Financially viable, technically sound, and future-ready energy systems

The Challenge

Sprocket Power had strong industry expertise, a credible leadership team, and valuable market relationships. However, the company’s marketing presence did not yet fully reflect the quality and sophistication of the business.

The website and brand needed to become cleaner, more modern, and more technically credible. Messaging needed to better explain complex areas such as EV charging strategy, demand charge control, microgrids, and integrated energy systems.

The team was also highly active at in-person events, but these moments were not yet being consistently turned into content, newsletter updates, LinkedIn posts, website assets, and sales enablement.

The challenge was not to create more random marketing activity. It was to build a practical marketing system around what was already working.

Key Campaign Objectives

To support Sprocket Power’s next stage of growth, we focused on the following objectives:

  • Rebuild the Marketing Foundation: Refresh the brand, website, messaging, and content infrastructure.

  • Clarify Category Positioning: Communicate Sprocket Power’s role in EV charging strategy, demand charge control, microgrids, and sustainable infrastructure.
  • Move Fast Without Losing Quality: Complete a high-impact 30-day sprint that created visible progress quickly. Then continue on a full-service and CMO-level ownership marketing plan.
  • Turn Events Into Marketing Assets: Transform in-person activity into announcements, blog posts, LinkedIn content, video, newsletters, and follow-up assets.
  • Build an “Industry Authority Engine”: Turn executive expertise into recurring content across video, blog, LinkedIn, newsletter, and sales touchpoints.

The Marketing Approach

We worked closely with Sprocket Power’s leadership team to create an integrated marketing system designed for speed, clarity, and authority.

1. Intensive 30-Day Marketing Sprint

The engagement began with a focused 30-day sprint covering messaging, positioning, full website relaunch, brand identity and design, LinkedIn, YouTube, blog, SEO, newsletter, CRM, and event amplification system.

Instead of spending months in abstract strategy, we moved quickly from diagnosis to execution.

Within four weeks, Sprocket Power had a clearer brand direction and a refreshed website and brand, including a stronger logo, messaging, and a more structured plan to turn business development activity into marketing momentum.

2. Brand Refresh and Logo Evolution

We refreshed the company’s visual identity to better reflect the seriousness and sophistication of the business.

The logo evolution involved the leadership team and moved closer to the core ideas behind Sprocket Power: mechanical motion, power, energy, and system thinking.

The broader design refresh reduced visual clutter and created a more polished, serious, and technically credible presentation across the website.

We’re proud not only of the outcome but also of the process: through weekly meetings, the team navigated towards their preference under our guidance. The Sprocket + Power symbols remain, thereby retaining the identity.

A real evolution. Highlighted below are steps 1, 2, 3, and 4.

3. Full Website Relaunch on an Optimized  Stack

We rebuilt and optimized the website using our optimized and preconfigured stack: WordPress, Kinsta hosting, Elementor Pro, and HigherUp Digital’s plugin stack.

The website update focused on cleaner design, faster technical performance, clearer service messaging, stronger credibility, and a scalable foundation for future blogs, event recaps, case studies, and landing pages. Custom post types for cases, service pages, blogs, video embeds, and optimizes pagespeed support the user experience.

4. Event & PR Amplification System

One of Sprocket Power’s biggest advantages is its real-world presence. The team frequently participates in relevant industry conversations and events across markets such as New York and California, and partners with big names like Con Edison, Schneider Electric, Kempower, and more.

We created a centralized planning system to turn meaningful events into repeatable marketing assets, including pre-event announcements, event briefings, short-form video, recap blog posts, newsletters, and sales follow-up angles.

Instead of forcing a generic marketing calendar onto the company, we built around what was already working.

5. Integrated Partner & Fractional CMO Approach

HigherUp Digital integrated into Sprocket Power’s existing landscape of partners, tools, and internal workflows.

Tobias Fischer is personally involved as a senior strategic marketing partner and fractional CMO advisor, supporting decisions across brand, positioning, content, CRM, website, events, and sales enablement.

The role was not simply “agency vendor.” It became a trusted growth partner relationship. This is what we’re all about.

6. Industry Authority Engine & Category Leadership

Beyond the initial sprint, we’ve installed HigherUp Digital’s Industry Authority Engine.

The system turns expert interviews into a full set of assets across long-form video, short-form clips, blog content, LinkedIn posts, newsletter content, sales enablement, and website authority content.

For Sprocket Power, this is especially powerful because the expertise already exists inside the leadership team. The opportunity is to capture that expertise, structure it, and distribute it across every relevant customer touchpoint.

Within the first months of working together, Sprocket Power’s marketing foundation changed significantly.

For HigherUp Digital, this project reflects exactly the kind of work we believe in: no generic playbooks, no inflated agency language, and no disconnected deliverables.

Instead, we bring senior B2B marketing strategy, sustainable energy industry understanding, and hands-on execution together to help companies like Sprocket Power build lasting authority in their market.
